Upon an evenly divided white and scarlet field a blue hexagon displaying a buckeye symbol surmounted by a representation of the Ohio state flag and encircled by the inscription "OHIO ARMY NATIONAL GUARD" in blue letters on a white band.
The designs and colors on the baldric, mace, tabard, and drum are based upon the state flag of Ohio, the Army National Guard authorized shoulder sleeve insignia, and the sobriquet "Buckeye State."
